Very few tickets remaining for Saturday’s ACC Barnstorming Tour at Linn-Mar

Apr. 15, 2016 4:19 pm
MARION — As of Friday afternoon, only about 100 tickets remained for Saturday night's ACC Barnstorming Tour at Linn-Mar High School, Lions boys' basketball coach Chris Robertson said.
A sellout of 2,200 for the event obviously is anticipated, as former Linn-Mar all-stater and North Carolina all-American guard Marcus Paige makes his return home. Paige and other Atlantic Coast Conference seniors from North Carolina, Duke and Wake Forest will play a game against a squad of local high-school seniors.
Robertson said he could not divulge the name of the local players participating because it's against NCAA rules. High-school students/prospective college players cannot be used to promote an event.
Robertson said the school will sell walk-up tickets to the event if there are any remaining. They are $10 apiece.
A 3-point contest, dunk contest and autograph session also is part of the event.
