State volleyball pairings and schedule

The top prep volleyball teams in the state will converge on downtown Cedar Rapids next week for the state tournament at the U.S. Cellular Center.

Pairings for Class 3A, 4A and 5A were determined by the IGHSAU following regional finals Tuesday night, while 1A and 2A teams punched their tickets Wednesday.

Four teams are back to try to defend their titles: Ankeny Centennial (5A), Harlan (4A), Dike-New Hartford (2A) and Fort Madison Holy Trinity (1A).

The tournament starts Tuesday with all five championships scheduled for Friday.
