DES MOINES - Saturday's games at the girls' state basketball tournament at Wells Fargo Arena:
CLASS 4A CHAMPIONSHIP
No. 2 WESTERN DUBUQUE (25-0) vs. No. 1 HARLAN (25-0)
* Time: 6 p.m.
* How they got here: Western Dubuque smothered No. 7 Indianola in the first round, 51-30, then downed No. 6 Sioux City Heelan, 47-38, in the semifinals. Harlan breezed through its first two games, 54-31 over No. 8 Cedar Rapids Xavier and 69-43 over No. 4 Carlisle.
* Coaches: Amy Ostwinkle owns a 106-56 mark in seven years at Western Dubuque. She coached the Bobcats to last year's 4A final. Zach Klaassen has posted a 74-3 mark in three years at Harlan. The Cyclones won last year's title after finishing second in 2013.
* Key players: Rose Simon-Ressler (5-10, sr.) leads Western Dubuque at 13.2 points per game. Megan Maahs (6-1, jr.) adds 12.9 points and 9.5 boards per contest. Post tandem Jess Schaben (6-1, sr.) and Taylor Frederick (6-1, jr.) key Harlan at 14.1 and 13.9 points per game, respectively.
* BC Moore computer projection: Harlan by 19.
