Reservations accepted for Elks Junior Golf

  Reservations are now being accepted for the annual Elks Junior Golf Tournament, sponsored by Elks Lodge 251, Cedar Rapids.

   This year's event is set for Wednesday, June 22, at Twin Pines Golf Course.  Registration starts at noon and tee times at 1 pm.

   The tournament is open to boys and girls between 10 and 17 years of age, as of August 13

, 2011.  There will be five divisions with first and second place finishers in each division qualifying for the Elks State Junior Tournament at Perry on August 5

.  10 and 11 year olds will play nine holes, all other age groups will play 18 holes.

   Entrants are responsible for their own green fees.

   Entry forms are available at the City's four public golf courses, Airport National, Meadowridge Driving Range and other locations.  Youngsters may also call the Elks Lodge at 363-0291 for additional details and reservations.
