Crompton's shooting ability was best on display in a January win over Cascade, when the 5-foot-8 guard made a school record 10 3-pointers as part of a 39-point effort.
She's one of four returning starters for a Regina team that is expected to contend for the 2A title again.
Illinois State was 8-23 last season and 4-14 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
