Prep football roundup: Anamosa completes 9-0 run

Kolin Schulte passed for two touchdowns and ran for two more as Anamosa completed its first 9-0 season since 1939 and their first unbeaten season since going 8-0 in 1947 with a 55-7 prep football victory over Cascade on Friday night.
Schulte completed 8 of 11 passes for 173 yards, hitting Tyler Zumbach and Dirk Snyder for TDs. Zumbach finished with five catches for 99 yards. Trevor Wehling added 74 yards and a TD on 13 rushes as Anamosa totaled 463 yards of offense and limited the Cougars to 206.
Anamosa also picked off nine Cascade passes, two returned for touchdowns by Sammy Dolan and Nick Miller.

WEST DELAWARE 48, DECORAH 21
- Max Ridenour passed for 115 yards and two touchdowns and added 70 rushing yards and a score as the Hawks wrapped up a 9-0 regular season.
Coy Roussell led West Delaware (6-0 in 3A-3) with 197 rushing yards and one TD on 31 carries.
This is the fourth time in school history the Hawks have completed a 9-0 regular season.
Cole Steffen passed for 144 yards and a TD for Decorah (4-5, 3-3), completing 12 of 17 passes. Shawn Shindelar had four of those catches for 73 yards and the TD.

MONTICELLO 13, NORTHEAST 12
- Jacob Manternach scored on a five-yard run and Gavin Holub kicked the extra point with 4:03 left to give the Panthers a come-from-behind win at Goose Lake.
Monticello trailed, 12-0, at halftime.
Max Keleher rushed for 103 yards and a TD on 19 carries for the Panthers (4-5, 2-4 in 2A-4).
William Haskens passed for 136 yards and a TD for Northeast (2-7, 1-5).

NORTH FAYETTE VALLEY 19, NEW HAMPTON 0
- Jesse Mackey rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown on seven carries for the TigerHawks (7-2, 5-1 2A-3).
Tanner Kuhens added 18 carries for 81 yards, while teammate Trey Kuhens picked up 73 yards on 12 carries and scored a touchdown as North Fayette Valley won on the road.
SOLON 31, DUBUQUE WAHLERT 13
- Brandon Childs led the Spartans (5-4, 4-2 District 3A-4) with two rushing touchdowns, connected with Halston Durr for a 23-yard TD pass and returned an interception 82 yards for a score.
Spencer Lawson rushed for 127 yards on 15 carries including a 71-yard touchdown and Dillon Diltz powered the defense with four solo tackles and Tyler Linderbaum recorded two sacks.
The win locked Solon into third place in the district going into the playoffs on Wednesday.
I.C. REGINA 31, PELLA CHRISTIAN 14
- Nathan Stenger passed for 132 yards and a touchdown, caught a 31-yard TD pass from Tommy Rapp and rushed for 136 yards and a score as the Regals (8-1) rolled in Pella.
