Prep Boys: Marion tops West Delaware 50-49

Craig Engle finished with a game-high 22 points to lead Marion to a 50-49 win over West Delaware last night in Marion.

Derek Smith added 11 for the Indians, who improved to 7-2 overall.

Jordan Nolz and Ty Cassutt each scored 11 points for West Delaware (4-5).

C.R. PRAIRIE 80, C.R. XAVIER 64 - JoJo Simpson scored a team-high 17 points for Prairie in an Mississippi Valley matchup at Xavier.

Cal Clark had 15 points for the Hawks (4-4), while Jalen Rima had 14; Max Smith-Drahos added 10.

Michael Mims had a game-high 20 points for Xavier (3-4). Mitchell Burger chipped in 13 for the Saints.
