The Regina boys basketball team beat Mid-Prairie by 20 Tuesday night in Iowa City.
Nathan Stenger had 16 points for Regina (2-0). Nolan Faselt had 17 points for Mid-Prairie.
CEDAR RAPIDS PRAIRIE 45, MOUNT PLEASANT 43
Jalen Rima scored 12 points while Cal Clark added nine points, including a 3-pointer, to help Prairie (2-1) win at Mount Pleasant.
GIRLS
IOWA CITY WEST 62, CEDAR RAPIDS XAVIER 31
No. 15 West took a 27-15 advantage into halftime and continued to build the lead in the second half to double up the 14th-ranked (4A) Saints (2-3, 1-2 MVC) at Xavier.

Emma Gerdes scored a game-high 25 points and led three Tigers in double figures as No. 13 Cedar Falls won at home.
Caitlin Riley scored 11 points to lead Cedar Rapids Washington, while Anne Visser and Jayla Johnson each added 10 points for the Warriors (3-1).
