Girls
4A No. 1 Marion 84, Clear Creek-Amana 46
Top-ranked Marion finished off the regular season in style, sinking a school-record 18 3-pointers during an 84-46 win over Clear Creek-Amana in Tiffin.
The Wamac West champions got seven 3-pointers from Kayba Laube and four from Camryn Cannoy. Chloe Rice, Caitlyn Smith and Sydney Nielsen hit two each for Marion (19-1).
Karsyn Stratton scored 13 points and Lauren Helle had 12 points for CCA (12-8).
4A No. 6 Cedar Rapids Xavier 58, Cedar Rapids Kennedy 55
Hailey Dolphin of Cedar Rapids Kennedy scored 20 points in the first half to lead the Cougars to a three point halftime lead, only to have Lexi Noonan of the sixth-ranked Saints score 21 points in the second half at Xavier.
Dolphin finished with 27 and Noonan 26 to lead their respective teams in scoring.
2A No. 1 Iowa City Regina 76, Tipton 44
The top-ranked Regals finished the regular-season undefeated with a win at home.
Tipton led 14-13 late in the first quarter, but Regina (22-0) led at halftime 37-25. The Regals extended their regular-season winning streak to 45 straight games.
Sarah Lehman had 19 points, Mary Crompton 16 points and Tipton transfer Alex Wiese 15 points for Regina. Amanda Smith led Tipton (6-15) with 12 points.
5A No. 4 Iowa City West 65, Linn-Mar 35
The fourth-ranked Women of Troy dominated in Marion.
Rachael Saunders had five 3-pointers on her way to 21 points and four steals. Maddie Huinker added 14 points for West (17-3).
Lexi Frese had nine points for the Lions (11-10).
5A No. 5 Iowa City High 95, Cedar Rapids Washington 40
The fifth-ranked Little Hawks had five players score in double figures — Kenya Earl 18 points, Rose Nkumu 16, Aubrey Joens 16, Ashley Joens 14, and Sydney Schroder 14 — in Iowa City.
Lindsay Parks had nine points for the Warriors.
Cedar Rapids Prairie 68, Cedar Rapids Jefferson 56
Boys
4A No. 1 Iowa City West 70, Linn-Mar 63
Connor McCaffery scored 22 points with four 3-pointers to lead top-ranked Iowa City West to the win at home.
Patrick McCaffery added 18 points while Devontae Lane tallied 14 for the Trojans.
Trey Hutcheson led Linn-Mar with 19 points including three 3-pointers. Reese Phillips added 16 points and Nolan Ruff tallied 13 points for the Lions
Cedar Rapids Kennedy 50, Cedar Rapids Xavier 47
Derick Diggins scored 18 points to lead Kennedy at Xavier.
Jackson Joens scored 16 points for Xavier with four 3-pointers.
Alburnett 69, Cedar Valley Christian 48
The Pirates overcame a three-point halftime deficit to down Cedar Valley Christian in Springville.
Izic Mackey lead Alburnett with 21 points , and Ian Boline and Austin Huber chipped in 18 and 16, respectively.
The Huskies were led by Kelvin Ridder with 16 points.
Cedar Rapids Washington 61, Iowa City High 57
The Warriors won the fourth quarter, 21-7, to defeat the Little Hawks in Cedar Rapids.
Donovan Beard had 12 points and eight rebounds for Washington (4-14).
