GIRLS
CEDAR RAPIDS XAVIER 45, DUBUQUE WAHLERT 32
McKenna Andersen scored 13 points and Lexi Noonan added 10 for 4A No. 14 Xavier in a 45-32 victory over Dubuque Wahlert in Cedar Rapids.
Andersen also grabbed eight rebounds for the Saints, who improved to 2-2.
Charlotte Flynn led Wahlert (1-3) with 15 points.
CEDAR FALLS 51, CEDAR RAPIDS PRAIRIE 49
Calli Johnson scored a game-high 16 points to lead No. 13 Cedar Falls (2-0) to a Mississippi Valley Conference win at Prairie.
Olivia Usher paced Prairie (1-2) with 13 points, while Lynsey Altenhofen added 11.
LINN-MAR 46, WATERLOO WEST 29
Amanda Ollinger scored a game-high 16 points, pulled down nine rebounds and had five steals to lead Linn-Mar in Waterloo.
Kamryn Finley added 14 points for the Lions (3-0).
Aliyah Robinson and Mackenzie Wehr each had nine points for Waterloo West (1-3).
IOWA CITY WEST 53, DUBUQUE HEMPSTEAD 32
Maddie Huinker scored 15 points to lead all scorers as the 15th-ranked Women of Troy won on the road. Allie Tauchen added 11 points for Iowa City West.
Holly Bitter and Morgan Kluesner each scored seven points for the Mustangs.
IOWA CITY REGINA 62, WILTON 26
Mary Crompton, Sarah Lehman, Kennedy Brown and Grayson Dumont each scored 12 points for 2A No. 2 Regina in a River Valley Conference game at Wilton.
The Regals (2-0) jumped out to a 40-16 halftime lead and made it stand up in the second half. Wilton fell to 0-4.
EASTON VALLEY 59, CEDAR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 52
Lexi Theisen scored 26 points to lead the Riverhawks in Preston.
Candace Wilson led Cedar Valley Christian with 26 points while Molly Hembera finished with 15 points.
MARION 66, SOLON 27
Marion sophomore Caitlyn Smith recorded a game-high 14 points as the fourth-ranked (4A) Indians built a 30-point halftime lead in a rout of Solon.
Dakota Doyle led the Spartans with 11 points.
BOYS
CEDAR RAPIDS JEFFERSON 68, BURLINGTON 33
Royshawn Webb and Dennis McKinney each scored a team-leading 14 points for Jefferson in a non-conference matchup at home.
Adam Van Oort added 13 points for the J-Hawks (1-1).
Isaac Oard led Burlington with 10 points.
EASTON VALLEY 68, CEDAR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 30
Cam Larson scored 17 points, including five 3-pointers, as the Riverhawks beat the Huskies in Preston. Dustin Lippens scored 14 points, including four three-pointers for Easton Valley.
Travis Geels led Cedar Valley Christian with 14 points.
BETTENDORF 58, CEDAR RAPIDS WASHINGTON 43
Zak Emard scored 15 points, while Joe Martins added 11 for Bettendorf in Cedar Rapids.
Keion Willis finished with a game-high 18 points and seven rebounds for Washington.
Ian Thomas added nine points for the Warriors.
