CLARENCE - North Cedar hosted its own wrestling invitational last weekend, finishing eighth in the 12-team field.
Camanche won the tournament, followed by New London and North Linn.

Byron Boleyn, a senior at North, beat Eli Pannell of Fulton (Ill.), 6-4, in the first round of the North Cedar Invitational. In the second round, he lost to Nate Shultz of West Carrol, 10-6, and in the final round, Boleyn placed third with a win a 9-3 win over Panell. (Darby Hawtrey/North Cedar junior)
