No. 3 Lisbon wins big in district semifinal

LISBON – Third-ranked Lisbon rolled to a 10-0, five-inning victory over Midland in a Class 1A District 8 semifinal Thursday night.

The Lions led 4-0 after the first inning, 7-0 after three and ended it with three in the fifth.

Lisbon (32-2) will host North-Linn, 4-3 winners over Bellevue Marquette, Saturday night, with the winner advancing to Tuesday's Substate 4 final.
