No. 13 Marion tops CCA after trailing at half: Girls Prep Basketball Roundup

Amanda Sahm scored 19 points Friday as No. 13 (4A) Marion topped Clear Creek Amana, 62-54, after trailing by five at halftime in Tiffin.

Other double-digit scorers for Marion included Chloe Rice and Mia Laube, who scored 16 and 14, respectively, and Michalyn Mohr with 10.

- Ashley Joens led all scorers with 20 points, including 12 free throws, as the seventh-ranked Little Hawks won in Cedar Rapids.

Kenya Earl scored 13 points for City High (13-4, 9-1 MVC Mississippi) while Sara Blowers ended the night with 11 points.

Lynsey Altenhofen led Prairie (2-15, 2-9) with 11 points and three rebounds and Emilie Rotter scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds.
