Miller reaches 2,000

CENTRAL CITY - North Linn senior Nicole Miller became the 17th five-on-five girls' basketball player in state history to score 2,000 points in a career, tallying 24 in a 81-17 victory over Central City on Friday.
Miller, an all-state guard bound for Drake University, has 2,004 points in her career.
The Lynx (18-1 overall, 10-0 Tri-Rivers West) wrapped up a share of the divisional title.
