Little Hawks take down Trojans on mat
IOWA CITY - In a solid road victory, City High defeated the West High Trojans, 42-28, in a high school wrestling duals.
The Little Hawks won eight of the 14 matches.
It was City High's first win against West since 2002. The meet started with a pin from junior Brock Hunger. Other highlights included pins by seniors Daniel Kelly, Jacob Powers and Nic Jarvis.
'In the end the team wrestled hard and we got the (win), which was always nice. Especially against (our) rivals.” sophomore Jacob Dykes said.
