Lisbon softball coach Bob Bunting earns 1,100th career win

LISBON — Bob Bunting earned his 1,100th softball coaching win Wednesday night, when Lisbon edged Cascade, 1-0, in a non-conference game on the field that bears his name.
Bunting has coached 48 years, compiling a 1,100-604 record. He led the Lions to three consecutive Class 1A state championships from 1993 through 1995.
Lisbon is 2-0 this season. The Lions beat Iowa Valley, 10-1, in their opener Monday.
