Lilly is national finalist

CEDAR RAPIDS - Xavier girls' basketball coach Tom Lilly has been selected as a finalist for National Coach of the Year by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association.
Lilly was named a finalist for his outstanding coaching longevity, win-loss record, championship years, honors and service at the high school level.
Lilly owns a record of 489-214 in 30 years overall, and recently hit the 300-win mark at Xavier. His Xavier teams won state titles in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2013.
