Iowa high school girls' basketball rankings: Sioux Center, Regina, Springville enter postseason ranked No. 1

As the tournament trail begins in girls' basketball, Sioux Center, Iowa City Regina and Springville top the IGHSAU's final rankings in Class 3A, 2A and 1A, respectively.
Sioux Center (21-0) and Regina (22-0) finished the regular season unbeaten, while Springville, the defending 1A state champion is 19-2.
Regional play tips off Thursday in Class 1A, though all 15 ranked teams have byes to Tuesday's quarterfinals. Class 2A and 3A teams begin the postseason Saturday.
Springville will host the winner of HLV and Iowa Mennonite, Regina takes on the Alburnett-Tipton winner and Sioux Center plays Sheldon. Here are the complete brackets.
Final rankings in 4A and 5A will be released Monday.
Movement in this week's poll included Center Point-Urbana climbing to No. 3 in 3A, flipping spots with Crestwood. In 2A, Western Christian hopped over North Linn to No. 4; the Lynx are now No. 5 after a loss to Springville. Newell-Fonda moved into the top five in 1A at No. 4, while Glidden-Ralston fell six spots to No. 10.
In the area, Mid-Prairie jumped from 14th to 12th in 3A and Bellevue Marquette moved up a spot to No. 6 in 1A. Ackley AGWSR joined the 1A poll at No. 14 and Lynnville-Sully slipped from 11th to 15th.
