Iowa City West pounds Bettendorf: Boys Basketball round up

David DiLeo led all scorers with 25 points, including six 3-pointers and seven rebounds as No. 1 Iowa City West (12-0) won, 74-27, over Bettendorf in a non-conference game in Iowa City.

Tanner Lohaus scored 12 points while Alex Henderson had nine points. Connor McCaffery finished the night with seven points, seven rebounds, and eight assists while Devonte Lane recorded seven points and five steals.

Jovan Jackson led Bettendorf (3-8) with seven points.

BELLEVUE MARQUETTE 49, CVC 35

– Logan Schroeder scored 14 points to guide the Mohawks to victory in Springville. C.J. Michels scored nine points for Bellevue Marquette (11-2, 5-1 Tri-Rivers West) .

Travis Geels scored 15 points to lead all scorers while grabbing seven rebounds for Cedar Valley Christian (0-10, 0-7).

– Craig Engle led all scorers with 16 points for Marion in a WaMaC showdown in Van Horne.

Derek Smith chipped in 10 points for the Indians (9-3, 5-2).

Tucker Schroeder had 14 points for Benton Community (4-10, 3-5), while Tyler Eggert added 10.

C.R. JEFFERSON 62, DAVENPORT CENTRAL 24

- The J-Hawks got a non-conference win last night on the road. Jefferson improved to 2-10.

NORTH SCOTT 70, C.R. PRAIRIE 49

– Marlon Stewart and Cortez Seales scored 18 points apiece for fifth-ranked North Scott in a non-conference game at Eldridge.

Grant Graham added 14 points for the Lancers (13-1).

JoJo Simpson paced the offense for Prairie (5-7) with 14 points; Mitch Lorenz chipped in nine.
