Iowa City West girls come back to beat Jefferson in OT: Prep basketball roundup

Submitted prep basketball scores and summaries for Cedar Rapids and Iowa City metro teams Tuesday night.
GIRLS
Iowa City West 61, Cedar Rapids Jefferson 56
Rachael Saunders scored 13 points and led four Women of Troy in double figures as Iowa City West overcame a halftime deficit to win at Jefferson. Lauren Zacharias scored 12 points, Maddie Huinker added 11 points, while Emma Koch tallied 10 points for the Women of Troy.
Kennedy Kighton scored 15 points, while Kylie Wise and Avery Guy each added 12 points for the J-Hawks.
Iowa City High 70, Cedar Rapids Washington 59
City High had four players in double figures Tuesday night, led by Kenya Earl with a game high 23 points. Ashley Joens had 18, Rose Gamamou and Courtney Joens had 10.
Washington's Joniqua Clark and Payton Bruner both had 16 and three each from downtown to spear the attack for the Warriors, but just fell short to a six-man rotation by City High.
Western Dubuque 52, Marion 46
Megan Maahs scored a game high 22 points, while Morgan Pitz added 10 points as Class 4A No. 4 Western Dubuque survived at home.
Chloe Rice scored 17 points, while Mia Laube added 13 points for Marion.
BOYS
Iowa City West 76, Cedar Rapids Jefferson 50
Devontae Lane scored 17 points and led four Trojans in double figures as Iowa City West rolled at home. Connor McCaffery and Nate Barnes each added 16 points, while Patrick McCaffery added 10 points as Iowa City West (6-2, 3-0) used a 21-4 first quarter run to break the game open.
Royshawn Webb scored a game-high 19 points to pace Cedar Rapids Jefferson.
Iowa City High 59, Cedar Rapids Washington 44
Micah Martin finished with a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double to lead Iowa City High in Cedar Rapids.
Henry Mulligan drilled four 3-pointers en route to a game-high 16 points for the Little Hawks (6-3).
Hunter Strait paced the Washington (2-4) offense with 12 points, while Laveechie Williams added 10.
Western Dubuque 55, Marion 44
Jordan Lake scored 18 points to lead Western Dubuque to the win at Marion.
Jacob Manderscheid led Marion with 18 points including two 3-pointers, while Baylor Fish tallied 12 points for the Indians.
