IHSAA releases postseason basketball brackets in 1A, 2A
The Iowa High School Athletic Association has released boys' basketball postseason brackets for Class 1A and 2A.
In 1A, fifth-ranked Jesup (15-2) is the top seed in District 6, with North Linn (17-1) the second seed. They theoretically could meet in a district final Feb. 25 at Oelwein.
Lone Tree is the second seed in District 8, with fourth-ranked Danville the top seed. Meskwaki Settlement School is the second seed in District 10, Montezuma the top seed and Keota No. 2 in District 11.
In Class 2A, top seeds include Dyersville Beckman (District 7) and Cascade (District 8).
First-round games in 1A and 2A are Feb. 15, with district finals Feb. 23 in 2A and Feb. 25 in 1A. Substate finals are Feb. 27 in both classes.
