Gymnasts shine at Winter Wonderland

CHRISTNER WINS WONDERLAND TITLES
CORALVILLE - Camryn Christner of Kids First Gymnastics capped her regular season with Level 7 titles in the floor exercise and beam at the at the Winter Wonderland meet hosted by the Iowa Gym-Nests.
Christner will now compete at the state meet in Cedar Rapids later this month and is eligible to move up to Level 8 next season.
TWISTERS'S KLESNER WINS 4 TITLES
CORALVILLE - Kelsey Klesner of Twisters Gymnastics won four Xcel Bronze division titles at the Winter Wonderland meet last weekend, helping her team to the title.
Abigail Green and McKenna Haugen won three events each in the silver division and Megam Hendrickson did the same in Level 7, and Chloe Schultz (silver), Skylar Meyers (diamond) and Payton Basquin (gold) were double winners.
Other Twisters winners were Kaylee Hageman and Avery Basquin in bronze, Jasmine Hartney in silver, Aliya Keaton and Blair Pladsen in gold, Sarah Nolting in diamond, Samantha Triplett, Riley Kalous, Elise Smith and Emily Crumbo in Level 7, and Hannah Martin in Level 8.
Bronze division top three placewinners were Kira Klesner, Sydney Huber, Harper Flannagan and Ava Gunsolly. Meghan Burtis placed in silver, along with Lauren Carnahan, Larissa Cleveland, Catherine Schooley and Emma Brandt.
Gold division placewinners were Amelia Berger, Brook Pladsen, Kaitlin Hotchkiss, Ellie Martens, Leah Crilley and Sophie Wilbanks. Grethcen Gehrls, Anna Penning, Aliya Burtis and Gabby Schroud all placed in platinum, and Alexis Sands, Alexis Peterson and Allyson Steffensmeier all placed in Level 9.
Twisters also won the team title in Level 7.
CRAG'S STAMER WIN EVENTS
CORALVILLE - Elli Stamer of the Cedar Rapids Association of Gymnastics won four titles at the Winter Wonderland meet in the Xcel Silver division.
Lily Schares in Level 4 and Emersyn Secora and Alivia Foser in silver all won three events, while Faith Pladsen was a double winner in Xcel Gold.
Other CRAG winners were Jenna Carney in Level 5, Maya Deuso in Level 8, Lexy Wadsworth in Level 9, Ezri Acheson and Jordyn Erickson in silver, and Macie Fork and Grace Zaugg in gold.
Placwinners were Elizabeth Anderson in Level 5, Riley Smith in Level 6, Lillian Winterowd in Level 7, Kareena McSweeney in Level 8, Jenna Danninger in Level 9, Maggie Schlamp and Lauren Short in silver, and Meghan Ulmer in gold.
MOSER GYMNASTS SHINE AT 3 MEETS
Sixteen gymnasts from the Moser School of Dance and Gymnastic won titles recently at the USTA Power Tumbling meet in Oskaloosa.
There were 11 clubs and around 300 athletes at the meet.
Moser winners were Jacob Gasper, Noa Marting, Emma Marting, Myra Clasen, Makayla Gasper, Hanna Marting, Michelle Stelken, Chloe Bennett, Paige Kremer, Katelin Ante, Emmy Troester, Isabel Lutgen, Alexa Ries, Kennedi Bevans, Tiegan o'Hea and Kennedy Bulman.
Ella Marting placed second along with Madison Habel, Kayla Felton, Makayla Gasper, Melanie Lutgen, Emma Bockenstedt, Logan Bevans, Tyler Buesing, Shania Rasmussen, Zoe Bailey, Zoe Walz, Keely Recker, Brooklin Ante, Lilee Boriskey, Alaina Mead and Taeryn Chrystal.
Third-place finishers were Kennedy Collins, Cheyenne Varner, Reagan Brown, Addi Bailey, Summer Anderson, Brody Bevans and Madison O'Hea.
At meet in Iowa Falls that included 12 clubs and around 350 athletes, 10 Moser gymnasts won gold - Amber Meyers, Jersey Even, Ella Schindler, Hanna Marting, Kayla Felton, Claire Heinrichs, Grace Funke, Natalie Meyers, Emmy Troester and Ingrid Vaughn.
Chloe Bennett, Ella Marting, Katelin Ante, Claire Wiese, Journey Even, Isabella Johnson and Abigayle Johnson finished second, and Noa Marting, Emma Marting, Gabbi Funke and Ella Vaughn finished third.
At a meet in Boone, Ella Marting, Josephine Briggs, Makayla Gasper, Myra Clasen, Hanna Marting, Michelle Stelken, Cooper Ingles, Emmy Troester, Sophia Geistkemper, Daniel Clayberg, Hannabelle Erickson, Journey Even, Megan Pierschbacher, Keely Recker, Tucker Erickson, Madilyn Payne and Kennedi Bevans all won titles.
Runners-up were Katelyn Mangold, Emma Marting, Kayla Felton, Cierra Weipert, Noa Marting, Sarah VanDeWalle, Kennedy Collins, Claire Wiese, Katelin Ante, Carson Ingles, Ella Recker, Zoe Walz, Brooklin Ante and Alexa Ries. Katie Boeding placed third, along with Meliah Eiben, Jessie Glanz, Chloe Bennett, Melanie Lutgen, Miley Walz, Abigayle Johnson and Kaya Knipper.
