Daniels leads C.R. Kennedy over C.R. Jefferson: Boys BB Round up

Zach Daniels led all scorers with 15 points as Kennedy topped Jefferson, 74-43, last night at Jefferson.

Bryton Heisler chipped in 14 for a Kennedy (8-3, 5-2 MVC).

Trey McCauley paced the J-Hawks (1-10, 0-7 MVC) with 10 points.

C.R. XAVIER 69, IOWA CITY HIGH 61

- Adam McDermott scored 32 points including 10 of 12 free throws to lead all scorers as Cedar Rapids Xavier won on the road at Iowa City High. Mitchell Burger added 12 points for the Saints, who led 34-22 at the break, and Connor Ramlo chipped in nine points.

Nile Ringen scored 13 points to lead City High.

EASTON VALLEY 61, CEDAR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 34

- Tom Scroggs led the Huskies with 14 points and seven rebounds and tied for a team-best five steals in Preston. Zach Peiffer powered the Riverhawks with 21 points.
