3 Twisters gymnasts win Presidential gold

ORLANDO, Fla. - Elisa Smith, Alexis Peterson and Allyson Steffensmeier of Twisters Gymnastics won Presidential Classic titles last weekend at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
The international competition drew 3,000 gymnasts representing more than 16 countries.
Smith won the vault in Level 8, Peterson the beam in Level 9 and Steffensmeier the beam in Level 10. Smith also placed second in the floor exercise and all around and Steffensmeier was second on the bars and all around.
Other Twisters placewinners were Emily Crumbo and Riley Kalous in Level 8, and Alexis Sands in Level 9.
A week earlier at the Candyland Classic in Waterloo, several Twisters gymnasts won gold, including triple winner Sarah Nolting (bars, beam and all around).
Aubrey Sires (beam, floor), Katelyn Callahan (beam), Loralei Wilson (vault, floor), Avery Basquin (floor) and Cara Spiegelhalter (beam) won in Xcel Siler; Emma Herold (vault) and Ellie Martens (beam) captured Xcel Gold titles; Brook Pladsen (beam), Blair Pladsen (beam, floor), Anna Cater (bars), Gabby Kroeze (vault, all around) and Haley Chmelicek (floor) won in Xcel Platinum; and Skylar Meyers (vault) in Xcel Diamond.
Placewinners were Eve Hansen in Silver, Amelia Berger, Rebecca Hein, Audrey Leno, Madison Marcus, Hannah Roth, Chloe Schutlz, Allie Long and Mary Morrow in Gold; and Anna Penning in Diamond.
The Platinum and Diamond teams won team titles.
CRAG'S MARK CAPTURES HARLEY GOLD
MILWAUKEE - Carly Mark of the Cedar Rapids Association of Gymnastics won three events at the Harley Invitational last weekend, capturing the vault, floor exercise and all around in Level 8.
Riley Smith, in Level 7, won the vault and all around. Other winners were Ava Andrews (floor) and Emma Kelsey (floor) in Level 6, Lauren Fruehling (bars) in Level 8, and Jenna Danninger (all around) in Level 9.
The CRAG Optionals Level 8 team won a team title and the Level 6 team placed second.
Placewinners were Maanasa Chinnakonda, Sidney Davidson and Natalie Freeman in Level 6, and Kyleigh Garcia and Maya Deuso in Level 8.
MOSER HAS 20 WINNERS AT MEET
IOWA FALLS - Twenty members of the Moser School of Dance and Gymnastic teams won titles at the USTA Power Tumbling meet here recently.
Winners were Lilee Boriskey, Jacob Gasper, Lena Petlon, Brian Kammiller, Cooper Ingles, Kayli Tegeler, Madelyn Schmitz, Taylor Mullis, Tenley Bormann, Nolan Urbain, Kaiden Belinsky, Michelle Stelken, Miley Walz, Madilyn Payne, Hannabelle Erickson, Savannah Freese, Brody Ries, Kyle Peck, Logan Bevans and Emma Fisher.
Leah Ries finished second, along with Katelyn Mangold, Noa Marting, Ella Marting, Ana Beatty, Breanna Vaske, Jorgie Schulte, Brooke Lucas, Emmy Troester, Myra Clasen, Maya Pierce, Kalyssa Reimer, Brody Bevans, Tiegan O'Hea, Madelyn Bockenstedt, Grace Funke, Tucker Erickson, Natalie Ries, Destiny Wall, Amiya Birkel, Claire Jaeger, Alexandra Esmann, Emma Bockenstedt, Kreighton Peck, Isabella Barrett, Claire Cahalan, Kaya Knipper and Laleah Belinsky.
Third-place finishers were Ike Schulte, Katie Boeding, Emma Marting, Alivia Sweeney, Abby Cook, Taylor Guthrie, Alaina Mead, Ava Nolan, Kennedi McGarvey, Makayla Gasper, Taylor Kitner, Kylie Belinsky, Zoe Walz, Cecilia Sweeney, Mattie Johnson, Ella Recker, Madison O'Hea and Lainey Knipper.
KIDS FIRST GRABS TITLES
Jessa Day of Kids First Gymnastics won the bars and vault in Level 6 at the Harley Invitational in Milwaukee last weekend.
At the Flip Tops Tumbling and trampoline meet in Kewanee, Ill., Desdemona Valley, Reegan Luken and Jaslyn Stephen swept tumbling and trampoline titles, Morgan Pence won in tumbling and Ciara White in trampoline.
Rylee Lueken picked up a pair of silvers.
