17 from Mosers win state gold

BOONE — Seventeen members of the Moser School of Dance and Gymnastic team won titles at the 2016 Iowa USTA Power Tumbling State Championships.
There were 25 Iowa clubs and around 620 athletes at the state meet.
Moser's state champions were Jacob Gasper, Madison Habel, Ella Marting, Hanna Marting, Michelle Stelken, Hannabelle Erickson, Cooper Ingles, Logan Bevans, Journey Even, Kylie Belinsky, Alexa Ries, Taylor Mullis, Madilyn Payne, Kyle Peck, Paul Morris, Kalyssa Reimer and Tenley Bormann.
A total of 138 Moser athletes qualified for the nationals later this month in Knoxville, Tenn.
3 CRSA CLUBS WIN STATE TITLES
Three Cedar River Soccer Association clubs won state titles last weekend, earning berths in the US Youth Soccer regional championships.
The CRSA U17 and U18 boys' teams captured gold, along with the U18 girls' squad.
The USYS Region II championships are June 24-29 in Westfield, Ind., and will include state champions from Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska. North Dakota, southern Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
