Iowa Ideas In-Depth Week: Aging in Iowa
Jun. 30, 2022 4:12 pm, Updated: Jul. 14, 2022 4:00 pm
Health Care consistently polls as the first or second most important topic to American voters, and Iowa is no different. It encapsulates how we live, from routine checkups to specialist appointments and everything in between. Our population age is increasing and so are our insurance premiums. The decisions we make today on our policies will shape the future of health care for decades to come.
For this installment of Iowa Ideas In Depth-Week, we’ll focus on Health Care in the state of Iowa. We’ll hear from several experts around the state on our policies, access to current health care, and what the future holds for every Iowan, especially those 65 and older. From July 14th through July 18th, join us for a week of discussion and answering questions on what Iowans care about most.
Schedule
July 18th @ noon: Providing for Iowans 65 & older.
July 19th @ noon: Building stronger Home Community Based Services (HCBS)
July 20th @ noon: Long-Term Care
July 21st @ noon: Aging in Place
July 22nd @ noon: Seniors Experiencing Poverty
