Who is the nation's best men's basketball player? Vote here

Michael Rothstein of the Ann Arbor News polled in non-scientific fashion 45 journalists, including myself, for their top three choices for the NCAA's player of the year.
Kentucky super-freshman John Wall was named No. 1, which is no surprise to those who follow the sport. Wall averages 17.1 points a game for unbeaten Kentucky. Texas' all-everything senior Damion James was picked second and Ohio State junior Evan Turner was third.
I admit my own voting was a bit flawed. I voted for Wall and James in that order, but picked Notre Dame's Luke Harangody at No. 3. If I had to do it over again (and I will on a weekly basis), I'd float Turner in there and maybe as high as No. 1. I voted for him as the Big Ten's player of the year last year, and he's come back strong after suffering a back injury in December. I'd say Turner is the favorite to win that award this year.
The 45 journalists cover NCAA basketball on a regular basis and vote for the sport's major awards. I vote annually for the Naismith Award, which goes to the nation's top player.
