Videos: Iowa rolls to 20th win, stops Nebraska

IOWA CITY --In Eric May's first season at Iowa, the Hawkeyes won 10 games. Today, in his final regular-season game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, Iowa its 20th.
Iowa withstood Nebraska's runs and went on a 17-0 run midway through the second half to roll past Nebraska 74-60 this afternoon.
The Hawkeyes (20-11, 9-9 Big Ten) earned the sixth seed next week's Big Ten Tournament and will play Northwestern at 8 p.m. Thursday at Chicago's United Center.
Aaron White scored 19 points to lead Iowa. Melsahn Basabe had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Adam Woodbury scored a Big Ten-best 12 points on 6-of-6 shooting. Anthony Clemmons added 11 points.
Nebraska's Ray Gallegos scored a game-high 22 points as the Cornhuskers (14-17, 5-13) sank 10 3-pointers.
Mays scored only two points but he had six assists and six rebounds.
It took two shots for Iowa guard Devyn Marble to join his father, Roy, as the only father-son tandem in Big Ten history to score 1,000 career points.
On Iowa's fourth possession of the first half, Marble missed a shoot, then got the ball back from and knocked down a 3-pointer to give him 1,001 for his career. Roy Marble is Iowa's all-time leading scorer with 2,116 points.
Marble's basket pushed Iowa to a 10-1 advantage and the Hawkeyes lead 32-23 at halftime. Marble finished with six points, three rebounds and three assists.
