Video Sessions II -- Sights, sounds of an offense

(Yes, that's the LSU practice photo slideshow. I know, but it's something different. I'll post Iowa's in a few.)
Good stuff from OC Greg Davis.
I asked about the backs, specifically what took so long to find RB Jordan Canzeri. Iowa isn't tied to the 230-pound running back, he said. RB Mark Weisman will take punishment and give it out. RB Damon Bullock remains an option. His strength is in the passing game, and that includes blocking.
Davis said the O-line isn't as deep as it needs to be, specifically at OT.
Tons of stuff. Watch the vid, listen to the audio file.
QB Jake Rudock loves the responsibility Davis has heaped on him. Disabuse yourself of the notion that a play is called in the huddle. A play is called in a huddle and re-called and reshaped pre-snap. Rudock's smarts are obviously helpful (he's pre-med, remember), but he's also football smart. What he translates takes a ton of study, and, as Rudock says in audio file No. 3, it's what the pros do.
College players sort of dig doing what NFL players do.
WR Tevaun Smith talks about the growth Iowa's WRs have made.
C Austin Blythe talks about bumping into his younger brother, Corbin, who's a walk-on DT. They face each other in scout team.
RB Mark Weisman is asked about bowling.
