Video: Iowa to honor Evashevski with throwback uniforms
Iowa will don 1958 uniforms to honor former coach Forest Evashevski on Sept. 25 against Ball State.
The jerseys will not feature player names.
The announcement was made in conjunction with a news conference on the 2010 FRY Fest on Thursday morning. FRY Fest will include a concert by Three Dog Night and an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest organized Hokey Pokey Dance. The record is 4,311, which was set in 2003 in Canada.
