Jan. 14, 2010 1:40 pm
The University of Iowa will hold a youth wrestling clinic for wrestlers aged 7 to 13 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena before the top-ranked Hawkeyes' dual against #4 Oklahoma State on Saturday. The clinic will be from 5-6 p.m., featuring members from the Hawkeye coaching staff.
Participants in the clinic and their families can enter the Arena through the East Doors, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Wrestlers will be required to have a parent fill out a medical release at check-in. A medical release can be found online at www.hawkeyesports.com and families are encouraged to fill them out ahead of time to speed up the registration check-in process. The clinic is free.
Participants will receive a free ticket to the Iowa/OSU dual and a free gold Iowa Wrestling T-Shirt. Parents and those accompanying the participant will need to purchase a ticket for the dual at the clinic. Adults are $15 and it's $8 for youth. Children 5-and-younger are $2.
