TV Timeout: BTN to air all-Big Ten selections Monday night

AWARDS BANQUET

The Big Ten Network will air the league's all-conference award show at 7 p.m. Monday.

Dave Revsine will host the show, alongside analysts Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith. Select award winners will be interviewed during the 30-minute program.

The show will reveal the All-Big Ten teams as selected by both the coaches and the media. Coaches will select a Big Ten Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Freshman of the Year. Media will also honor the Dave McClain Coach of the Year while the coaches will pick an Offensive and Defensive Lineman of the Year.

Last year, the media and coaches both selected Iowa running back Shonn Greene as the Offensive Player of the Year, Ohio State linebacker James Laurinaitis as the Defensive Player of the Year and Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor as the Freshman of the Year. The conference's media selected Joe Paterno as the Dave McClain Coach of the Year.

COMEBACKS GALORE

NFL Network's "Greatest 4th Quarters" features three of the top fourth-quarter comebacks this week (7 p.m. Saturday). Here's a description:

Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins (Sep. 12, 1999): The Cowboys erased a 35-14 deficit in the fourth quarter with RB Emmitt Smith's 1-yard touchdown run and two touchdown catches by WR Michael Irvin. In overtime, the Cowboys contained the Redskins' opening drive, took over on offense and QB Troy Aikman connected with WR Raghib Ismail for a 76-yard TD pass.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers (Jan. 3, 1999): With only three seconds remaining and the Packers leading 27-23, 49ers QB Steve Young connected with WR Terrell Owens for the game-winning touchdown that ended the Packers' playoff run.

Denver Broncos vs. San Diego Chargers (Sept. 14, 2008): Trailing 38-31 late in the 4th quarter, Broncos QB Jay Cutler connected with WR Eddie Royal for a 4-yard go-ahead score, resulting in a 39-38 Broncos victory.

HOOP IT UP

Iowa's men's basketball team will get the ESPN treatment early next week. Iowa plays Texas at 8:45 p.m. (probably closer to 9 p.m.) Monday on ESPN2. The winner of that game plays the Pittsburgh-Wichita State winner at 9 p.m. Tuesday on ESPN2. The losers meet at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday on ESPNU.
