Times announced for Big Four Classic

The second annual Big Four Classic will open with Northern Iowa facing Iowa State and conclude with Drake playing Iowa on Dec. 7 at Des Moines' Wells Fargo Arena.

The Panthers-Cyclones game tips at 5 p.m. The Hawkeyes and Bulldogs compete at 7:30 p.m. Television has not been determined.

Tickets for the event, which is sponsored by Hy-Vee, range in price from $25-70. Each school will have an equal number of game tickets to distribute. Tickets will be good for admission to both games of the doubleheader and will be made available first to each institution's basketball season ticket holders. Tickets not sold by the institutions will be placed on sale for the general public through the Wells Fargo Arena box office at a date to be announced.

Iowa beat UNI 80-73 and Iowa State topped Drake 86-77 in the inaugural classic last year.
