Students, fans invited to meet McCaffery at 5:30 p.m. today
Fran McCaffery will be officially introduced as the Iowa Hawkeye's new head men's basketball coach at a press conference this morning but students and fans will have their chance to meet him at 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
In a special event, the university is inviting the students to meet Fran McCaffery at 5 p.m. and fans and the public at 5:30 p.m. inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Free parking is available in lots around the arena. The doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and fans are urged to use the south and west entrances.
