SEC snags another Iowa PG target
Oct. 1, 2013 7:20 am
Iowa lost another point guard target to a Southeastern Conference school.
Monday night, Wisconsin prep Riley LaChance committed to Vanderbilt. He was the Hawkeyes' fallback option at point guard after losing Tyler Ulis to Kentucky less than two weeks ago.
LaChance previously took an unofficial visit to Iowa, then was in Iowa City beginning Thursday night on an official visit. LaChance visited Minnesota the previous week.
LaChance's AAU teammate, Brady Ellingson, picked Iowa last week so there was hope from Iowa's coaching staff the two would want to play together in college.
Iowa still has three available scholarships for the 2014 class.
Just made the best decision of my life officially committed to Vanderbilt University!! So excited to be apart of the Commodore family!!!October 1, 2013
