People are betting on Iowa's football team

On June 7, the Golden Nugget casino in Las Vegas posted 250 betting lines for college football games to be played this season. Pointspreads are adjusted when significantly more money is bet one way than the other.

That said, people have leaped on Iowa to cover the spread in a few of the six Hawkeyes games posted last month. Particularly the Northwestern-Iowa game, which the Hlog told you was too big a number at the time it was released. It opened with the Wildcats as a 12-point road favorite. That has been bet down to 7.5.
