No to game in November

Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz was asked this week if he'd like the Iowa-ISU game to be pushed to later in the season. In 2001, because of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the game was pushed to Nov. 24 at Jack Trice Stadium.
He seemed intrigued by the idea, but knows it's probably not going to happen, even though, in Ferentz's opinion, the Big Ten Conference is pushing to extend its season to post-Thanksgiving and December.
“That would be something to consider, but that's probably fantasy football,” he said.
