Live chat with Dan Gable, J.R. Ogden and others

Legendary Coach Dan Gable will be participating in a live chat next Wednesday, March 3 at 11:30 a.m., with Gazette staff members, including Sports Product Planner (fancy name for Sports Editor) J.R. Ogden as part of the company's celebration of a 100 years of Iowa Hawkeye wrestling.

Gable, Ogden and others will discuss some things like the top moments in Iowa wrestling history, top wrestlers from the storied program, most memorable/beloved wrestlers and even as to how Gable came to be hired by Gary Kurdelmeier and what if Gable had never come to Iowa City.

Our entire package kicks off Sunday with stories and columns concerning how the tradition would be today without Gable and how the Hawkeyes, including Tom Brands, thinks about carrying on the tradition. We'll also run a list of top moments, including a short story each day counting down to No. 1 the day before the Big Ten tournament. We'll even ask you to share your favorite moments and wrestlers of all time.
