Lickliter, Barta to meet on Iowa basketball future today
Iowa basketball coach Todd Lickliter is scheduled to meet with athletic director Gary Barta this morning on the future of the Hawkeye basketball program, KCRG-TV9 reported Sunday night.
Lickliter's status as coach became tenuous last week after he wrapped up his third season at Iowa with a school-record 22 losses, including a season-ending loss to Michigan, 59-52, in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament. The Hawkeyes are 38-58 overall in three seasons under Lickliter.
