Is Jake Kelly coming back to Iowa?
There have been rumors out there for a while that former Iowa basketball player Jake Kelly was unhappy at Indiana State and might be thinking about coming back to Iowa City.
Kelly, who was averaging 9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game before suffering a season-ending knee injury, reportedly is considering transferring back to Iowa. He asked for a transfer to Indiana State after his sophomore season to be closer to home following the death of his mother in an airplane crash and was granted immediate eligibility.
