Iowa's Lickliter likes Big Ten expansion, if it's positive

Iowa Coach Todd Lickliter was asked about how potential Big Ten expansion would impact his basketball program. Here's what he said:

"I heard there's a lot of hoops to jump through before that happens," Lickliter said. "It sounds like to me, I don't know any more about it than you, but it sounds like to me it's been evaluated, and it looks like something that it's not only feasible but something that people are thinking could be a positive. If there can be a positive then, hey, let's go with it. I'm sure there will be a lot of research and evaluation and all.

"The Big Ten has 11 right now. Why can't the Big Ten have 12? Would we still be the Big Ten? I don't know."
