LEVICE, Slovakia - Morgan Johnson scored 25 points in 22 minutes, leading Iowa to an easy 90-53 win over BKZ Levice on Saturday in the second game of the Hawkeyes' European Tour.
All 11 Hawkeye players in uniform scored as Iowa moved to 2-0 on its tour.
Johnson used her height advantage to finish 11-16 from the field along with eight rebounds in 22 minutes of play.
“Morgan had a big advantage inside and we used it tonight,” Iowa Coach Lisa Bluder said. “Sometimes it's hard to get the ball inside at the right times when you have an advantage like that. Tonight we executed and Morgan played well.”
Freshman Samantha Logic was one point and one rebound shy of her second-straight double-double, finishing with nine points, nine rebounds and five assists. Fellow freshman Virginia Johnson grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds and also chipped in seven points.
Jaime Printy had 12 points, three rebounds and three assists.
The Hawkeyes leave Slovakia this morning and will bus to Vienna, Austria. Iowa will spend Sunday and Monday in Vienna before flying to Paris. Iowa's third and final game will be in Paris Friday.
