Hlog's pregame photos: Missouri State-Iowa

IOWA CITY -- Iowa football fans come to games at Kinnick Stadium from all over the nation and even the world. The first three photos here prove that:

Things were slower in the pregame than normal around here. One guy had two really good tickets he was trying to unload, but didn't have as much as a nibble in the time I observed him. He wasn't trying to scalp, not that it was possible had he wanted. He said if he had to, he'd give them away to someone who would be upgrading their seats.

No, not my best batch of pregame shots by any stretch, and let's face it, I've had some darn good ones over the last few years. OK, some mildly interesting ones.

It was already too warm for my taste at 9:30 a.m., and I guess I had the same enthusiasm for this game as the general public. There will be more-interesting days ahead.
