Hawkeyes still have Orange Bowl tickets available
Thousands of Hawkeye fans will follow the football team to Miami for the Orange Bowl. But there are still tickets available.
The school's allotment is 17,500 tickets. So far, the UI ticket manager says Iowa has sold 14,000.
Still, Iowa has sold more tickets than many other schools around the country have sold to their bowl games.
Ticket manager Pam Finke said, "With the economy the way it is, and the game not being the traditional Christmas week I think it makes a little difference for families traveling."
The university will continue to sell tickets until kickoff on Jan. 5.
