Hawkeyes' run spurring more interest in bowl game travel

There are weeks left in the college football season, yet Iowa Hawkeye fans are trying to line up bowl game packages.
Winebrenner Red Carpet Travel general manager Terry Tegen says whether the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., Orange Bowl in Miami or Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, Hawkeye fans are contacting Iowa travel agents for bowl game packages. Tegen adds there is a trend away from some of the lower-tiered bowl games.
Winebrenner has a list of 350 people ready to pounce on a trip to Pasadena or Miami or New Orleans, or wherever Iowa may land.
Tegen says the calls first started coming in when Iowa was 5-0, and have steadily increased with each win. He says prices won't be announced until Iowa accepts a bowl invitation.
