Hawkeye wrestlers treat fans to autographs

The University of Iowa wrestling team provided fans with a special treat after their 49-0 whipping of Northwestern Friday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. After the hawkeyes recorded their school record eighth shutout of the season and extended its school record win streak to 58 duals, Hawkeye wrestlers signed autographs on the concourse of CHA.

A large group of fans - of all ages - waited in line as the Hawkeye wrestlers signed posters and various items for more than the allotted 20 minutes. Take a look at the Hawks sign and converse with fans. Notice how long the line is with just a couple minutes remaining.

Thomas Holiday of Muscatine attended the meet with his father. He was quite excited about the experience and the opportunity to get close to the wrestlers, including his favorite Brent Metcalf.
