Former Hawkeye great Woolridge wants to be Iowa assistant
One of the all-time Iowa greats is interested in getting back to Hawkeye basketball.
Andre Woolridge has officially applied to be an assistant on Fran McCaffery's new staff.
After leaving Iowa, Woolridge played basketball for many years overseas. Andre is now located in Sacramento but would love to get back to the Midwest.
Also Thursday, New Iowa coach Fran McCaffery named Andrew Francis an assistant coach on his basketball staff. The hiring becomes effective immediately.
