Ex-Hawkeye Rob Bruggeman moves up depth chart
Former Iowa and Cedar Rapids Washington prep Rob Bruggeman is listed as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' second-team center, according to the team's Web site.
The Buccaneers released No. 2 center Sean Mahan today, paving the way for Bruggeman to possibly make the team's final roster.
Bruggeman, 23, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 293 pounds,
signed with Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent in April.
