Coach: Roy Marble Jr. better than his dad - at this stage
Roy Marble Jr. is one of four recruits coming to Iowa next year. He averages around 26 points a game for Southfield-Lathrup (Mich.) High School in the Detroit area.
His coach, Mike Avery, competed against Marble Jr.'s father, Roy, who is Iowa's all-time leading scorer. Marble Jr. (who next year will be known as Devyn Marble) has turned heads with his play this season, including that of his coach.
"I think the son has more at this stage of his career," Avery told the Oakland Press.
