Alexander, Printy, Bolte earn honorable mention

Iowa's Kachine Alexander and Jaime Printy and Iowa State's Kelsey Bolte are honorable mention women's basketball All-Americans by the Associated Press.
Alexander averaged 14.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game while Printy led the team at 16.8 points per game as Iowa finished 22-9 and reached the NCAA tournament for the fourth consecutive year.
Both players went over the 1,000-point mark. Alexander is a senior from Minneapolis, Printy a sophomore from Marion. Alexander finished her career as Iowa's second leading rebounder all-time.
Bolte, a guard from Ida Grove, averaged 16.9 points per game and ranked among the nation's leaders in a number of categories, including free-throw percentage (10th, 88.8) and 3-point field-goal percentage (15th, 42.1). ISU finished 22-11 and reached the NCAA tournament.
The first team consisted of Maya Moore of Connecticut, Brittney Griner of Baylor, Jantel Lavender of Ohio State, Danielle Adams of Texas A&M and Jeanette Pohlen of Stanford.
